    • Restaurant Manager was a bizarre chap who clearly slept in his suit. Hotel was a long way past its best days, very outdated and needing a coat of paint at the minimum. Highlands themselves are really not worth visiting in the rainy season as they close all the trails/ cloud forest at the first sign of dampness.

    Location, ambience, staff politeness

Bed is hard. Housekeeping are quite “stingy” to add on things like cotton buds. Iron connection to plugs must be checked as the iron can easily cut-off from electricity

A quaint hotel. Large room & a clean toilet. A good attached restaurant.

No airconditioning or ceiling fan. A ceiling fan would have been excellent.A king-size bed would have been good with better pillows...

I will not come back to this hotel also why they deduct the amount before one week of the trip date?

Too bad the rooms and the toilets, the carpet smell too bad and the rooms too old

Location - between tanah rata n brinchang, hence convenient to visit either waySmart app TV - both netflix n prime video accessibleThe staff are very friendly and helpfulThe room feels like it was newly furbished with laminated floor

One toilet for a big family room, feels a bit limited

Beautiful property with beautiful views great staff and amazing breakfast

    7CherylPosted on: 8-21-2025

The staff is what made the whole experience enjoyable at this location. They catered to my every need including shipping a sweater that I left behind. They were very attentive in the dining room and when I needed something delivered to my room. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I don’t know the gentleman’s name who ran the dining room but his service was impeccable. It was a short distance away from the tea plantations.

My room was atrocious. I thought that all of the rooms had a “vintage” vibe until I saw my neighbors room which was fully renovated. My room was dark with very cheap, dim lighting. Some of the furniture should have been discarded. The mattress was old and not supportive. I got lower back pains from sleeping on it. It’s too bad because the service from every staff member was impeccable. I would highly recommend this hotel only if you check out the quality of the room that the front desk is assigning to you. I wish I would have done that.

A Wonderful Stay – Highly Recommended! From the moment we arrived, the experience was seamless. Check-in was smooth and efficient, setting the tone for a relaxing stay. The weather was pleasantly cool, which made exploring the area even more enjoyable. The hotel’s location is ideal—quiet, peaceful, and away from the hustle and bustle, yet still conveniently accessible. Our room was impressively spacious and featured not one, but two balconies offering stunning views of the surrounding landscape. It was the perfect spot to unwind and take in the serene atmosphere.Dining at the hotel was a standout experience. The restaurant staff were exceptionally polite and attentive, with special mention to the F&B Manager, Mr. Rajoo and Ms Aqillah (unsure, if i got her name incorrect but she's an indian muslim lady who is 6-months pregnant) who worked tirelessly throughout. Despite being short-handed during our visit, he was hands-on and supportive, ensuring guests were well taken care of. His leadership and dedication truly made a difference. The breakfast spread was generous, offering a wide variety of options to suit every palate. Every meal we had at the restaurant was delicious—flavorful, well-presented, and satisfying.Overall, this hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. From the tranquil location to the outstanding service and fantastic food, it’s a place I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a memorable and comfortable stay.

The hotel only has one lift!

The people are really friendly and helpful and the place was clean and green. The landscaping was well maintained

The towels needs to be changed

There is something wrong with electricity in the hotel. I could charge my devices only if they are switched off. I burned two charging cables and a charger because of it :(Hotel use old and there is a lot of black mold pretty everywhere. We also received a bonus present. Excrements in the toilet. Hope it is the present from previous guests, not a welcome from stuff.

the staffs are warm and friendly, room is clean and comfortable, breakfast is delicious and has a big parking area.

firstly, the hotel seems a little old, there is only 1 elevator. the ceiling of the toilet is not straight especially at the shower area. secondly, there are only standing fans available. would be better if there are heaters as the room gets cold in the middle of the night.thirdly, the walls between other rooms are thin. we are able to hear the other rooms easily.

The ambience, good location, friendly staffs, ample of parking lots.

should have more varieties of food for breakfast, it was good but more would have been better.

The room was a good size n bed was comfortable

Why can’t there be soap provided in the bathroom instead of the one attached to bath on the wall . Very inconvenient. Not to happy with the cash collection at counter of rm200 before checking in. Just hold in the Credit card n release once we leave .
